uh oh....
The character in my book works at this beautiful, big house because her family desperatly needs the money. She can't afford to loose this job. But she is being seduced by the son of the house, and she can feel the danger of it. But she needs that job, and its hard to find any other work that pleases her parents. Do you think she should listen to these red flags about this man, quit her job and go back to her peasant life, or should she just ignore him and continue her work?

It's lose not loose! I would quit right then and there! Not only could you get in a lot of trouble but he might kill you if your not careful. Even if you need the money you can find another job with less risks.
ReplyDeleteI would stay. In a big house it is easy to advoid someone. And since I would need the money really bad I do not have very many choices. I would ignore the young man as well as I could. And if and only if it got really bad then would I quit and try to seek work else where.
ReplyDeleteI think for now she needs to just ignore the guy and keep her job. If her family is needs the money so badly then quitting her job won't do them any good. However, if he makes her feel uncomfortable then she should look for another job and once she finds one then she should quit.
ReplyDeleteI think that if she's uncomfortable working there then she should definitely leave, but if she really needs the money and won't be able to find another job then what other option does she have but to work there? If this man is starting to harrass her she should try telling someone about it. If she's going to get fired for trying to protect herself then she doesn't really need that job anyway.
ReplyDeleteIf she really needs the money that badly then she should do her best to avoid him. She should do her best to protect herself but in the end she needs to do what is best for her family. She should just try to get through it and she should get a new job the first chance she gets.
