It depends I would stand behind them if someone was making fun of them to thier face. By that id be letting them fight their own battles. But if someone is making fun of them behind their back I would stick up for them because they could not stick up for themselves. And I also might not be able to contain my remarks even if my friend was there to fight her own batles.
i would definitely stick up for them if it was my best friend! i would only fight their battles for them if they really coldnt sick up for themselves. but if they were able to stand up for themselves then i would just be there to back them up.
