I personally think that it could be both. In the last book I read the girl was not insane when she was a little kid and during most of her teenage life but hen I was watching this one show about some of the most violent criminls in the world and it said that when they were younger they showed some signs of insanity.
Well considering I dont know what alot of those words mean...I agree with Jade. Most people will show some signs of it when they are younger. In my book the "stalker" (ha i spelled it right!) was somewhat insane when he was a kid because he killed both his mother and his father.
That would make a good research paper. Obviously, not all criminals are the same, or have the same backrounds. But generally they let things go too far and end up going crazy. I do agree with Amanda and Jade, but I have a feeling there is so much more to their minds than just bad experiences.
Amanda, "somewhat insane"? Any kid that kills their parents is more than somewhat insane. There has to be something wrong with a kid that can rationalize the murder of their own parents, unless of course there is a history of abuse, which even in that case I think it would take a certain kind of person to be able to live with themselves if they had taken the lives of the people that had, whether lovingly or not, brought them into the world.
