In my book Lennie is mentally retarded, and he has a obsession with rabbits. So to control his want George gets him a puppy. How would you take control of this situation? Would you get him a puppy? Or try to get him a rabbit? Or just make him suffer because you are mean.
If he was able to take care of an animal I would get him one. Most likely a dog just because Lennie is a big guy and does not know his strength. He would most likely crush the rabbit with his hands on accedent. A dog is less fragile than a rabbit. But if he was not able to take care of an animal then I would not get him one. I would not want to have to take care of smeone elses animal expecially if they wanted that animal so bad.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jade that if he could take care of an animal then I would get him one, and it would probably be the dog since they can take a little more pain than rabbits. If they can't take care of the animal they shouldn't have one. It is not mean to keep it away from them because it is for the betterment of the animal. They could always have a stuffed one.
ReplyDeletei would try to get im a rabbit. thats what he REALLY wants but IF all else failed then i would get a puppy or animal of some sort so that he would be happy! because i am not mean! and he can earn to take care of it!
