Dangerous Decisions

If someone came to you and asked you to do something that was really dangerous, but could possibly save hundreds of lives, would you do what they asked?

Masquerade

If you were queen, do you think it would be fun to go to a masquerade ball? A real french masquerade with beauiful costumes and gowns, even some fireworks. Or do you think that it would be too dangerous with nobody knowing who you are?

Adoption?

Do you think you would be able to take care of a child as a single parent in a town where you don't know anyone? Would adoption be an option?

Single parent ??

If your friend was considering abortion what would you tell her as advice? Would you encourage or discourage it?
In my book, Scarlett is pregnant and has considered all the options there is to offer. If she has her baby she will be a single parent because the father of the child was killed in a motorcycle accident. Would your advice lean toward abortion or adoption considering the situation, or would you encourage her to take on the responsibility of a single mother?

Stranger

Say that you are pregnant and stranded with no money and nowhere to stay. An old lady that you do not know comes up to you, calling you by a different name and claiming that she has known you forever. She wants you to come back to stay with her. Would you go and pretend to be the person that she thinks you are and have a place to stay? Or would you not go with her?

How would you react if your best friend told you she was pregnant? Would you be there with her when she had to tell her parents and be there to support her through out the pregnancy? Or would you react like everyone else and keep your distance and aviod her like she had some kind of disease?

A very cute boy spends all day with you and then does something to make you really angry. He comes to your house and sits outside in front of your house for 4 hours waiting for you to talk to him, do you continue to ignore him or go outside?

Stalker

A boy who is dating your new friend seem to like you but he is really creepy and is sort of stalking you but you have no one to talk to, what do you do?

Something Terrible

Would you refuse to talk to somebody just because of something terrible that are doing? Marie Antoinette won't talk to the kings mistress, but ends up talking to her for her mothers sake later. Do you think this is right?

Insanity

If everyone in your life was saying that you were crazy, even if you knew you weren't, would you believe them? Therefore proving your own sanity? Or would argue your sanity and risk everyone thinking you were even crazier?

Going Forward or Backward

Your aunt and uncle took you in when you had no where to go. You've lived with them for several years now and your finally 18 and are no longer forced by the government to live with them. Michael believes that Chris did not kill his daughter, and has agreed to testify at his trial, in his defense. Melanie, Michael's wife, is upset with him because of this. Footprint

Ok so in Robbinson Crusoe, Crusoe comes upon a human footprint in the sand after so many years of being isolated on a deserted island. There aren't any ships to indicate that the print got there by a large boat or ship. The only explaination is that he came from the faroff land across the sea, (a place that might inhabit cannibals). Would you run away back to your fortress frightened, or would you search desperately for that only piece of human contact that you haven't had in forever?

If you had a younger sister who ran away and got married to a man who you knew wasn't a good person, what would you do? I know that if I did this my sister would have a few choice words for me. Would you talk to your sister and be honest with her or just let her live her life the ways she chooses?

Say you believe in God, would you thank Him in spite of all the bad things going on in your life? Robinson Crusoe does everyday, even though He is trapped on a deserted island.

Say your mom and you get along but she doesn't really "get" you like your dad does and you spend all your time with him, but then he suddenly dies, how would you react? What would you do to cope because your mom does not want to talk about it?

Limited Time

Chris, who is still in prison awaiting his trial for Emily Gold's murder, only gets to see his mother two days a week now, Tuesdays and Saturday afternoons. On one particular Tuesday his mother informs him she will not be able to come visit with him on the upcoming Saturday because his sister, Kate, has a dance recital that she must attend. Although Chris doesn't admit to it, but he is jealous that his mom spends all week with Kate and chooses to go to the recital instead of coming to see him on one of the two days he can be visited. If you were Chris, would you be upset with your mother for not coming to see you or would you be understanding of her decision to go to your sister's recital?

Best Friends No Matter What..?

In The Pact, Gus Harte is the mother of Chris Harte, who is accused of killing Emily Gold. Before Emily's death, Gus was best friends with Emily's mother, Melanie Gold. Since her death, Melanie refuses to speak to Gus at all given the circumstances. If you were in this situation, would you still speak to your best friend if her child was accused of murdering your daughter? Or would you cut your losses of their friendship and move on?
