Frankie and John Henry spend all of their summer together, doing just about everything. They play outside, read books, play card games, listen to the radio, just sit around and talk, and cook together. John Henry spends most of his nights at Frankie's house too.
What do you like to do during your summer vacation? Do you spend it with friends or go out of town with your family? Or something else?

Well it depends on the day and my mood. Im usually always outside during the summer, whether it be playing softball, or out on the lake. I spend the least amount of time possible inside because inside isnt fun. All you can do is watch TV or play on the computer. I try to spend a lot of time with my friends but that doesnt always happen because sometimes our plans clash. You may want to do something but they may be out of town. So I pretty much do whatever I can at the time.
ReplyDeleteI usually do both. I go out of town with my family on family vacations. Except last summer ony me and my aunt went on a vacation. I also stay the night with friends. But the main thing I like to do is when my family has bar-b-ques. They are the best and I love seeing people I have not seen all winter. I also like to hav movie marathons.
ReplyDeleteI like going to see my family in California, I did this over the summer and it was great! I try to go every summer, but sometimes it gets expensive. When I do go, I go to the Sacramento area and travel all over the place: Santa Cruz, Lake Tahoe, Solvang, LA and other places. I'm thinking about going to college in california :D
ReplyDeleteDuring the summer I work a lot. But whenever I'm not working I like to go to the lake, and go kayaking or swimming. Theres a lot to do in the summer so I don't like to stay inside, unless I'm sleeping. lol. I go out of town sometimes with family...this summer we're going to Hawaii!!!!! woohoo!!! My family and I have cookouts a lot and we roast marshmallows and hot dogs which is a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteMy summers are usually spent playing sports. I am always at some sort of camp, practice, or tournament. I am always really busy but I don't really mind because playing sports is what I love to do. I also work a little but don't enjoy it at all. I don't know what I am going to do with myself next summer because I won't have any camps or things to go to the school teams.
ReplyDeletei loooooove going to the lake!!!!! its great! camping is sooo fun too but i dont do that very often. i like going to the park too! i sometimes go on vacation... but not too far. unless i go to minnesota where my family is from.
ReplyDeleteDuring the summer I always try to fit everything in. I always want to travel to places that I haven't been but also I those lazy days where you don't have to do anything except for read and watch TV. It's always fun to be able to hang out with your friends when you don't have to work around your school schedule. But summer's are always over too soon.
