what if you witnessed someone die and you and your friend were the only ones around? would you tell anyone? in my book there are two girls who are playing with a little boy who by accident falls in the lake and drowns.
If I saw someone die I would most definitely tell someone especially if I wasn't at fault, even if I was I would have to tell! It was an accident and it's not like the girls just killed him. When something like that is kept if anyone were to find out that you knew about it then you would look so guilty, even if you aren't. Nothing good comes from secrets like that i assume. Imagine the guilt you would feel everyday I'm sure its unbearable. What if the boy was never found and that family was left wondering what happend to their little boy. What a horrible thought. :(
I would definitely tell someone about it. Imagine if you were that person's family, wouldn't you want to know what had happened to them and not just be left to wonder about it the rest of your life? I would never be able to live with myself if I witnessed someone's death and I DIDN'T say something to anyone. I would go to the police to tell them what had happened so that they would be able to let the family of that person know.
yes i would tell someone b/c i would feel super guilty if i didnt. plus i would want the family of the little boy to know what had happened. i can understand why someone wouldnt want to tell though, it is very likely that the family would not believe that it was just an accident.
I would tell someone. It would be wrong not to. Not only would I feel guilty but i would also be giving the person who died family a sence of false hope because they would spend weeks looking for the person. It would also be a wste of police time by not telling because they would not have to go search the woods and lake.
That would be awful. Yes, I would tell someone. Its not like you would get in trouble, you didn't murder him if it was an accident. I would call 911 and tell them what happened. That way they could come and try to revive the boy and if they couldn't then they could take him so he can have a proper funeral and not just float down the lake for someone else to find.
that would be really hard to do especially when he drowned while you were there, you might be charged for his death. I would tell someone, but it would be my mom first so that she could help me deal with the police and the parents. But What I don't understand is y didnt they rescue him? were they not watching? or could the girls not swim either?
