As the White Rabbit is running past her, he mistakes Alice for his housemaid, Mary Ann. What if someone was convinced that you were someone else? Would you yet to correct them even if they remained adamant? Or would you just go along with it so they would leave you alone?
This situation is dependent. If I'm at Walmart or something and someone who thinks they know me approaches me, I would probably go along with it, keep the coversation short and generalized but try to get away fast. haha. But, if the situation were serious and a person had mistaken me for someone else who had wronged them then I woulc certainly correct them!!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I look a lot alike and people almost always think that we are twins and for some reason they always think I am Emillie. For the most part I just go along with it until they figure it out or realize that I have no idea what they are talking about and they just leave. I think that it is really rather funny to watch people's expression when they realize that I am not the person they thought they were talking to.
