The Horse

My charcter in my book just accidently killed her horse, and now her family dosn't have any kind of transportation to keep them going. So they will loose money, food, and transportation. Do you think that it would be ok to sell the horses corpse for only a few shillings, or bury it?

  1. Again, LOSE NOT LOOSE!!!! I would sell it to get some money, unless they were super super close to their horse. But the body would just rot underground and there is so much you can use in a horse; horse hair, you can eat the meat also.

  2. Well if they have no other way to get money I think it would be acceptable to sell it. Yes, it would be nice to bury the horse because I'm sure it was like a pet and friend, but you also need money for food. That might be their last bit of money for some time. It would be difficult, but not any worse than actully killing te horse. Also, to bury the horse that would take a lot of effort because you would have to dig a big hole! You might as well sell it and have someone come and take it off your hands. It's like they are doing you a favor and still paying you!

  3. i guess it would depend on how close they were to this horse. if it were me and i was close to it i wouldnt be able to sell it unless we really had no other choice. it would be hard but if it meant me surviving i would do it. i would have to do it for my family for us to survive...

  5. Depends if they needed money for food or to pay the bill. Because they could always eat the horse meat (ewwwwwww) instead of selling it. But if they needed the money more to pay rent or taxes then by all means sell the corpse to the weirdos who would buy it.
