This one part in my book remined me of something out of a Halloween situation. The boys killed this huge pig and stuck her head on a stick for the "Beast" that haunts the place at night. And this one boy is being secretly tortured by the head, the head is talking to him, critizing him. I think that its his imagination soaring into some sort of mirage and it's oppressing him.
Do you think that our minds could reach this level of insanity? Is it possible for a person to go insane? Is it possible for a whole nation (Or large group of people) to go insane?

Yes because people do go insane in like the desert when they see things. I dont really know if that a whole group of people could go insane but it is highly possible.
ReplyDeleteI think their are many levels of insanity. I wouldn't know how to classify the different ones, but its possible for a person to become insane and for a whole group of people to become insane. Some people are born this way and with others it just develops over time. Look around our world, people claim to see things that aren't there and are willing to throw away their famlies and careers over trying to prove they're real. Some people can hear voices that tell them to do certain things, others have multiple personalities without realizing it and some can even kill another person for no reason without feeling any sympathy. Anything is possible.
