HECK YES i would try to prove my innocence but sometimes its the ones who make a big deal out of being innocent that are really guilt, but at the same time if they act normal or try to then they again are accused. Either way you are going to look guilty in someones eyes. I would for sure try to prove my innocence. IT would be so hard though, because you are already struggling with the thought of him being gone forever. Your husband was just killed and you are grieving from that and now you have to deal with being accused. I would be so angry and I would probably show this anger. But I wont ever know unless I am in that situation and I sure as heck hope I never get in anything close to that! :(
