Prison
Chris Harte is in prison awaiting his trial. He is in the maximum security ward, and the prisoners are only allowed visitors on Tuesdays. On one Tuesday Chris decides he doesn't want to see his mom because all she talks about is the world on the outside of the jail and how life is going on without him. If you were in prison, would you want visitors or would you not? Why?

I think I would want some visitors because I would feel alone or abandoned if at least my family didn't come to visit me. If all they talked about was how the world was going on on the outside then I wouldn't want them to come visit me. That would be a constant reminder of how I had screwed up or made some mistakes, it's not like you wouldn't know that you had messed up, you're living with the consequences of that every day. I would want people to visit and tell me about my family how they were doing, if they missed me, if they forgave me for being in here.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely want visitors! It would be hard to hear about the people you love going on with their lives without you. But hearing that would be better than hearing absolutely nothing from no one in my opinion. Just because they are continuing on with their lives doesn't mean they dont miss you or that they don't love you. I would be sad if no one came to visit me because then I would think that they really didn't care.
