why do you think people with HUGE acres of land make it private property and freak out when people are on their property. maybe someone is on their property just taking pictures? is it really that big of a deal?
Maybe they are hiding drugs and dont want to get caught! But my uncle has almost 1000 acres of land up in northern Missouri and the Amish are known for poaching. So, you have to get permission to go on anybody else's land plus most of it is fields of corn or soybeans.
My family owns a lot of land and recently there was a man that they agreed to let him used the land for some of his animals if he would brushhog the land, but he then started hunting and bringing his friends to hunt on the land where my grandparents have cattle and that cattle is thier whole income. Part of the reason people freak out is because when people come on to the property and aren't familiar with even it they don't mean to they could destroy something. It's kind've like if you came home and there was someone on your front porch, even if they were just sitting or taking pictures you still wouldn't feel comfortable with them there.
I think that's kind of ridiculous when people act like that. I guess it would kind of make sense though, if you didn't like associating with people, then that could be the reason that they bought all the land anyway. If that was the case then it would be understandable if they got upset that someone was on their land and they were a very private person. People get upset at different things, something that one person finds upsetting could seem totally ridiculous to someone else.
I think it depends on how big the property actually is. If it's really really big and the people are far away from the house or whatever is on their property then it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I live in the state park so we have a really big yard and our house is right by the trail and the lake so its not that big of a deal because we always have people by our house. What really bothers me is when people actually come up to our house and walk through our yard and mess with our stuff. Kinda creepy, and annoying.
Some people just like privacy. They don't know why the person is there so they make a big deal out of it. But I wouldn't know because I have never owned or lived on huge arces of land before. Mabye the whole reason they bought the land was for isolation. I don't really know...
