The main character in my book ran away from home to sail the seas. But his father had warn him about how dangerous it was, and the boy ended up stranded on an isolated island. Have you ever been warned by someone about a certain situation that you ended up regreting later?
yes, and i think sometimes the more they tell you its wrong, the more you want to do it. or your just not very smart and dont listen to the people around you. even though they probably know so much more, its just hard whn you really want to do something you dont think about it potentially hurting you
ReplyDeleteYes. When I first got my car I was told that I had to be home at a certain time or check in every so often. At first I did this because I was told if I didn't then I wouldn't be able to drive. After a few weeks it got really annoying, like having to get up during the middle of a movie to call home to check in so one time I left my phone in my car and when my parents called I was there to answer and got my car taken away for the weekend and then the regret..
ReplyDeleteYes, I have. Probably more times than I want to admit, but havent we all? I agree with roxi the more they say dont, the more I am tempted to do it. I wish that I would listen to my parents and Eddi more often! They know whats best for me even when I am side tracked with something else that may distract me from the direction I am wanting to go. They have my best interest at heart so i should listen to them more often. It seems like everytime I tr to do my own thing and go against what they say is best, I fail miserably and regret everything, I want to take back what I have done and change that section in my life, but I know that cant happen :( ARG :(
ReplyDeleteOf course I've been in situations like this, usually involving something my parents advice and I do the opposite. It usually results in me getting my phone taken away or my keys. =(
