Well, I am really close to my mom. We have a really close relationship, she is the best. When my dad died, she pushed all her feelings aside the best she could and raised us in the happiest home I could possibly ask for. We can talk about anything and everything. The only relationship that I am stuggling with is with my step-dad, we are getting better though, we can tolorate each other now. But it can be better...
Yes, I am very close with my mom. She knows EVERYTHING about me and everything that is going on with me. I will tell her anything and everything. When I need advice...after i discuss it with eddi, I always talk to my mom. And when I am sad or want to cry (this usually happens at night, I dont know why) but I go and sit in my daddy's lap. I will tell him whatever is on my mind and he always makes it all better... and now I sound like a little kid...
I'm pretty close with my parents. I usually talk to my mom about whatever is pissing me off and me and my dad talk about things that we think are stupid. I think that everyone should be able to talk to their parents about themselves or what's happening in their lives. I don't tell my parents EVERYTHING because something's I just like to keep to myself but I think for the most part that if I needed or wanted to I would be comfortable with sharing anything with them.
I made the unfortunate mistake of distancing myself from my parents in my youth. I did not go to them with problems I was having nor were they included in issues I as facing at the time. We are much clser now; making up for lost time I suppose. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you have loving parents who are genuinely inteested in you and your life, let them in. If you wait too long, you may find you have waited too long.
