If your parents wanted you to marry a certain person and threatened to disown you if you didn't marry him what would you do? Would you marry him and keep your family or not?
i would not ever marry someone i didnt love. and if my family REALLY cared about me they would let me marry the man im in love with. and they wouldnt force me to marry someone just because THEY want me too!
Well, if I lived in the time period in which arranged marriages were common and that parents typically picked their daughter's husband, then I'm sure I would go along with it, it was customary. But in this day and age, if that happened, I would protest, like Roxi said, if my family TRUELY cared about me, they would want me to be happy and marry the boy I loved.
