Anger
Would you be angry at your husband if he shot your dog because it was suffering from diabetes? The character in my book thought in was inhumane and wanted the dog to be put down at the vet. She was so upset at her husband that she left the house for a few days and stayed with a friend. What would be your reaction?

I would be very upset and angry at him. For him to do something so horrific and not care what I had to say about it would be a big deal for me. I would lose some resepct for him and trust. I think the wife did the right thing by leaving for a few days to show her husband that what he did hurt her and was wrong. I would have done the same thing.
ReplyDeleteI would not be happy. If you shot the dog then it would feel the pain. Taking it to a vet just means that it would fall asleep and feel no pain. Just think. Which one would you rather have? Death by getting shot in the head or death by falling asleep. In the end everyone wants a peaceful deatyh. I think animals probably do too.
