I would be pray and be patient with him/her, but I would not trust this person very much. Even though you love them, it's possible not to trust them. It's like parents and children. Parents love their kids, but kids do lie. Wheather if the lie is coming from a obvious 5 year old or a subtle 15 year old.
I would talk to them about what they were doing first and if things didin't change pretty quickly then I would probably start distincing myself from them. I would still want them in my life I truley loved them but if I can't trust them then it would do more harm than good by keeping them as a big part in my life.
I agree with Alli. It would be hard to sit back and watch the person that I care about so much continue to hurt me. It would be hard to move on with my life, but it would be something that had to be done if they made my life THAT miserable by hurting me constantly. I think if worst came to worst and the relationship had to end I would want them out of my life completely for awhile, so I could move on and find better, then maybe a friendship or something, I don't know. =/
