Chosen Marriage
What if you lived in a world where you were picked by someone to marry them. In many cases it would be a guy who you had never even seen before. In this world the people believe that whoever chooses you, you will eventually fall in love with and you must marry them. How would you feel about being told that you will love someone who you dont even know and you must marry them?

i would hate that! i think i would dilike im MORE just because i have to love him and what if he's nothing like me? i wuldnt want to be miserable all my life with someone i hate! i would want to pick the man for me and make sure he is worthy!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's just crazy to say. I would hate being told that I had to marry someone in the first place, but then being told that I would fall in love with them would just be even worse. How can someone tell you what you are going to feel? They can't possibly know how you're going to react. Who would want to fall in love with someone just because they had to be in close proximity with them for a long time. You can't force people to have feelings for someone.
ReplyDeleteI think I might b ok wih that. Like if they were rich and I was doing it so that my family wouldn't be poor then I thinkk I could handle it. But if my paarents were making me marry him just because then I wouldn't want to at all because if I am being miserable for my family to survive then I could handle it.
ReplyDeleteI dont like being told what to do in the first place...and to be told you are going to love someone you dont even know is just stupid! I would run away or something, I could never do that. Love is something that you must build between that person and its not something that is planned before it happens it just does. If I was told I had to marry someone that would make me hate them, I would want to do my own thing even more than before! Wow I think that is so stupid!
