Yes I do believe that this affects the person you become. I think that if you were an only child (no offense only child lol this may not apply to you) but I believe that they are usually more spoiled and use to having things their way all the time. This could cause them to either want things given to them their whole life without work or cause them to do whatever they must to get what they want which could be a very good thing. They probably like to be in charge so they would work hard to get a job that is above others so they can have things their own way. When there are multipe siblings, the middle children often feel left out this could cause them to be more quite and less outgoing.
I think that the amount of siblings you have probably affects the kind of parent you become. A lot of times you see kids that are from big families have a lot of kids themselves or if they didn't like that they might only have one or two. Same goes for the kid that is an only child, if they felt like they missed out on something by not having a sibling they probabl won't want their children to miss out either, but then again if they enjoyed it they might only have one child also. I think it really depends on whether you liked the kind of family you come from. For me I hate being the middle child but I also (no offense to anyone) don't want the typical, "American Dream" of the white picket fence with a husband, wife, one boy and one girl type of family. Sometime I hate hving sisters but more times than not I like having them around.
