Do you remember setting a goal to achieve something that seemed so difficult. You try and try to achieve this goal and fail over and over, but you finally accomplish your goal, how do you feel? Have you ever gone through this? How did you feel when you
succeeded?
Sometimes I feel like that when I do math problems. It takes me forever and I can't solve the problem so I get angry. When I finally figure it out it's like a sense of achievement. I feel relieved because it turns out that I'm not stupid and could figure it out after all. It's like that with any goals that you set for yourself though. No matter what it is, if you work hard and it and reach that goal that you have a sense of accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Eddi, you feel really good when you figure out problems like that. One goal that I had was when I had to take a extremely hard final and I wanted to do well, at least a B or something. I studied a lot. I was going to be mad if the grade didn't come out the way I wanted because I worked really hard. But I didn't get a B, I got an A. It was SO great to have that satisfaction, to work harder for my A.
ReplyDeleteI have had one goal for several years and I always thought it would happen. Then when I finally got started attempting to make this dream come true I found it was harder than it seemed and at one point I had really just given up and then something came along and revived my dream so I started to try again and finally I achieved my goal. Now I kinda feel stupid for ever really thinking that I couldn't do but at the time I never thought it would ever happen.
