Second guess

Have you ever second guessed yourself on a very important decision?

  1. i second guess myself all the time. but when i really sit down and think about what i am going to do in the certain situation, i usually go with my first decision or think to myself if what i was about to chose would make my dad proud of me, or if it would dissapoint him and i go off of that.

  2. Yeah, I think everyone second guesses themseleves, especially when it comes to something important. Its hard to know if you're making the right choice until its too late to change your mind. So. yeah, nine times out of ten, I second guess myself when it comes to important choices that I have to make.

  3. I try to, but it always happens to me that I second guess myself. It is kinda hard to avoid it. I don't like making big decisions because I take too long to decide on them. I'm STILL trying to decide which college I'm going to go to. It took me 3 months to choose my top 4 colleges out of 7. But I'm going to force myself not to second guess this big decision because it's too important to do that. Hopefully I will know soon which college I willl attend.

  4. Yes. I second guess myself a lot. I think its pretty common. If your about to make a decision that could impact your future then wouldn't you want to think it through so you know your making the best decision for yourself? Like with college, I wanted to go off to school and have the 'college experience' but instead I'm going to CofO so I can best debt free which will benefit me a lot in the long run.

  5. I try not to second guess myself because it ususally winds up being that my first instinct was right. I think that we all second guess ourselves though. Especially on the important subjects. It's usually the big decisions that everyone puts the most thought into anyway because those are the decisions that could possibly change your life. No one wants to be put in that kind of situation and find out later on down the road that they should have went with their first choice and wind up regretting it for the rest of their lives.
