The Queen of France

Marie Antoinette had to take on extreme responsibility as queen of France at the age 14. Have you ever had to take on hard responsibility that was forced upon you?

  1. No. I've never really had any great responsibility. I mean, yeah, I have the responsibility of the typical 18 year old, but I don't have to pay all my bills or support myself. I wouldn't know what to do with the presure of having to run a counrty at such a young age!!

  2. I personlly have never had to take on any big responsibility, but I know some people who have. An example would be when there is a death in a famiy. Everyone now has to chip in a bit to help care for the family. Or when a single parent is struggling trying to raise her children the oldest child may have to take on a role as the other parent.

  3. I haven't had to take on any responsibility that any other 17 year old girl hasn't. I mean I don't pay my own bills or buy my own clothes. I can't imagine being 14 and paying my own bills and supporting myself completely let alone a running a country.

  4. I think that any time that you are in a leadership position you are more than likely going to have more responsibility than you can handle at one point or another. I've never been in any kind of position where I've had to be in control of thousands of people obviously, but I also think that sometimes just normal obligations can seem like too much depending on other things that are going on in your life at that moment. What may seem like a simple task one month might be overly stressful the next.

  5. Sometimes I would be forced to watch my sister because my mother was not cabable of taking care of her sometimes. But other than that at age fourteen I wasnt forced to do anything else. I do remember some peer pressure and doing stupid things because of it but besides that nothing really has been forced upon me.
