Family Heirloom
What if one of your great ancestors had found an artifact that allowed you to travel back in time and since its discovery your family had been using it to manipulate to become wealthy and powerful. When it was passed down to you would you still use it to gain wealth or would you stop using it because you thought it was wrong?

As bad as it is to say, I think I would use the machine. I thnk it would be fun to have the power to manipulate time, regardless of whether or not there was any money involved. I would also use it because generations of my family had used it before, I wouldn't wat to be the one to stop the "tradition".
ReplyDeleteI would probably stop using it if it were stealing from people. But if it was there and you could become wealthy by avoiding certain mistakes I might use it. I don't really know. But it does sound wrong so I would stop the tradition and move on with my life, maybe give the machine to a museum or something like that.
