most adults say that we, as teenagers are too young to understand the concept of love. do you agree? is there really such a thing as being too young to love someone other than your family?
No I dont agree. Everybody is different, some people may not know but others do. Yeah some people get married way too young but others wait just the right amount of time. This person I know has already met the love of their life and they are only in high school. They plan on getting married after college just so they will have enough money to have a nice wedding.
I don't think there is such a thing as being too young for love. I think love isn't based on age, it depends on maturity level. It happens everyday day in high school. Some girl (or boy!) is like 'oooh I loooooove Jonny(Or Suzie)' and the next day (s)he loves Frank(or Sally). Obviously they are too immature to know what they are talking about. My parents have been married for over 25 years and they met when my mom was 18 and had just graduated from high school and my dad was bearly 20. Heck, I'm 18 right now and I've been with my boyfriend for over a year, and I care about him very much. He is hands down my best friend in the whole wide world and I plan on keeping him. =) But, I have to admit, I used to be like the girl who 'loved' Jonny one minute and Frank the next...I've since found out that I had no idea what I was talking about. Haha. But now, since I've matured and realized, that regardless of age, I can still love someone..I just have a better understanding of what love means. Like I said previously, I care about my boyfriend very much, and no one can tell me that I'm too young for love. <3
I agree with them. It depends on the person because everyone is different. It also has a lot to do with maturity like Bethany said. You may think you love someone but you may not be mature enough to know what it actually means. I think that if your at the point in your life where every relationship your in becomes dramatic in some way then your not mature enough.
