In the book I am reading, Animal Farm, the animals are planning a revolt again the farmer, 'Lord of All The Animals'. None of the animals were brave enough to do such a thing alone, but as a group they became daring enough to do the unthinkable.
Have you ever been inspired to do something with a group that you would have never done alone?

Not me personally but not that I think about it there have been tons of events in history that have happened because a group stood up for what they believed in. In Missouri History we learned about coal miners who started forming unions and seperated they werent strong but together they ended up making it to where all the coal minning companys had to be aloud to let their workers form unions. But that also led to the killing of around 50 workers so it had its pros and its cons.
ReplyDeleteI am with Jade I don't think there is anything big that I have done with a group that I never would have done by myself but I think of a certain group of people in History that did. The people of the English colonies here in America, when they wanted freedom and the king said no, they didn't just give up. They started forming a militia, obviously it wasn't the greatest army in the world but they won the revolutionary war and now the United States military is the strongest on the planet. Those men used their own weapons, money, and supplies and risked their lives to fight for something they wanted, I really don't think anyone of those men could've done that by himself, no matter who he was.
