Second Grade

Suppose your second grader was way behind all the other kids in his class, and the only way you found out was from a parent teacher conference. Would you take full advantage and tutor them yourself along with being a police officer all the time, or work out a deal with the teacher so she tutored him a couple times a week?

    I would have the teacher teach them. The teacher would probably know the materual better than I do. They could do a better job at tutoring my child than I could. Besides with my job it would just be way to hard to work and help my child with their school work.

    I would do both. As best as I can to my ability, I would teach my child. My parents are both teachers so they could help as well. Then I would let him go to tutoring after school occasionally because the teacher probably knows best what areas my child is struggling in most. She sees how he is at school and how he learns she could help him more than me I am guessing.
